Yoga Bio

Tarra first fell in love with yoga during college and her love for the practice has evolved in so many ways over the past 8 years. She was attracted to hot yoga for the detoxifying sweat release and the physical challenges as well as the opportunity to slow down, be present and enjoy the flow rather than trying to have it all figured out (on and off the mat). As an athlete and a runner, yoga helped alleviate her chronic back pain, while increasing her range of motion through strength and flexibility. Tarra enjoys teaching for the ability to share her passion for yoga with others, and hopes to inspire her students in ways that so many teachers have done for her.

She completed her 200 RYT Training with Grace Morales in Charlotte, NC during 2015 and has since completed additional intensives with Irene Pappas, Daniel Rama, Patrick Beach, Steph Gongora, Erin Kelly, Carson Clay Calhoun, Adam Whiting, Jaimis Huff Flynn & Jennifer Busco. Tarra attended her most recent training at Casa Om in October 2017 and fell in love with the space so much so that she was inspired to lead her own retreat here which will take place in February 2019 in Puerto Morelos, Mexico (there are still a few spots left). She currently teaches weekly Hot Power Vinyasa classes at Charlotte Yoga in North Carolina and at local breweries around town.
